Mary learned this trick all by herself, being silly the other night. If not for my recently acquired flip video camera, I might never have caught her performing debut on tape. I love you flip video!
Aunt Sherry stopped by tonight for a visit and we had a delightful time. The girls reveled in the attention! Sherry brought them each special treats from her travels and we watched a great promotional DVD on Korea! Below, I tried to capture all eyes in the same direction with the gift giver, the gift receivers, and the gifts! I gave up after three takes and figured I'll just post them all. :-) One day during Lily's spring break, we took a little road trip down to Miami to Jungle Island, formerly known as Parrot Jungle. The girls had a blast and we enjoyed being outside all day. Lots of great animals for the kids to see, and the birds are exquisite! My personal favorite part of the day was watching a bird show where a bird rode a bicycle across a tight-rope to the theme song of Mission Impossible! Mary loved feeding the lorakeets and Lily loved pretty much everything, as usual. :-) Mary is currently obsessed with one show called "Bunnytown." More specifically, as of today, she is obsessed with one of the songs on the show, "Bunnytown Hop." Whereas, she used to watch most of the episode (and I say most because at 18 months her attention span is "still delveloping," I will say), she now only wants to watch the song -- over and over and over and over and over and over...you get the idea...again. So here's a little clip of Mary and Lily dancing to Mare's favorite song. Notice how she thinks something is wrong when the song is over! Ok, so it's taken me a little longer than expected, but here are the rest of the Easter pics. The girls had a blast, as you will see, at the Delray City Easter Egg Hunt. I have a new gadget: The Flip Video hand-held video camera! So far, I love it. It will be great for someone like me, who can never find the video camera when I want to use it, and has a dead battery when I do find it! This one fits easily on my pocket and takes 2 AA batteries. So now you'll be seeing a lot more of what's going on around here! |
