Lily and Mary attended their first Easter party and had an absolute blast. They loved it all, from dying the easter eggs to decorating cupcakes (none of which were edible, hehe:-) ), They ended the day with the ultimate easter egg hunt! Some of the adults hid the eggs all over the front yard while the kids were in the back yard. They eggs were hidden in the grass, the trees, the mailbox, the door handles of the cars in the driveway, and everywhere else you could possibly place a plastic egg. They did a great job because each child found more eggs than they knew what to do with so no one felt slighted. Although, you will notice in one of the pics below, there is one child who appears to have a heap of eggs in front of him quite larger than the rest... :-) All in all, Easter has been a big hit around here. :-)
Lily was great with dying the Easter eggs. Mary, on the other hand, only knew how to do one thing: Take the egg and plop it in the closest cup of dye. And repeat.
Of particular note here is the color of Lily's hand. She wasnt very good at holding the metal egg holder when she was dying the eggs so she took matters into her own hands...
Mary liked her gloves very much!
